The Wedge Fitting Process
- Interview the golfer to gain their perspective and thoughts as to
their strengths and weaknesses. Learn about their work ethic and practice routine devoted to
wedges.
- Learn their preferences within their existing wedges for
different shots: sand, pitching, chipping, etc..
- Analyze their technique to determine optimum bounce and sole
structure for the wedge clubs..
- Measure and chart the distance the 9-iron and each additional
wedge travels.
- Determine the lofts the wedges should be to engineer the desired
distance gaps between the clubs.
- Design the optimum wedges that will be most functional and
efficient in hitting the desired yardage gaps.
